Tiny Drop of Blue Necklace Tutorial
Material:
1 piece 30mm round ring
10 pieces 5-6mm rondelle beads
18 inches (2-3mm ring) chain
9 links of the above chain (approx. 1 inch)
2 pieces 4mm jump rings
10 pieces single dot 24 gauge head pins (2 inches long)
1 piece 8mm trigger clasp
Step 1. String 1 rondelle bead to each head pins.
Step 2. Use a round nose pliers, make a loop.
Step 3. Attach the loop to the chain, wire wrap all the way until touches the bead, cut away excess wire.
Step 4. Add 1 bead to each of the link on the chain (total 9 beads, leave 1 bead out for later).
Step 6. Use the 4mm jump ring, add the 1 inch chain with the beads, then add the 30mm round ring, then add the 18 inches chain. Close the jump ring.
Step 7. Use the other 4mm jump ring, add the other end of the 1 inch chain, then the 30mm ring, then the other end of the 18 inches chain. Close the jump ring.
Step 8. Now you get this.
Step 9. Hold the chain up and find the middle, then cut the chain.
Step 10. Add the 8mm trigger clasp to one end of the cut chain. On the other end, add the last bead with the head pin, make a big loop, approx 4mm (this use as a jump ring for the trigger clasp to hook on), then wire wrap until the end of the wire touches the bead, cut away excess wire).
Done.
