A mabe pearl is a cultured blister pearl that is grown against the inside of the shell. This allows the mabe pearl to develop a dome shape with a flat back.
Beautiful piece with ornate deign. Handmade in Bali, Indonesia, by skillful silver smith. Oxidized to enhance the detail design.
